Acceptance and who we are
These terms govern your use of groundfigures.com and everything on it (“Ground Figures,” “the site”). By using the site you agree to them and to the Disclaimer and Privacy Policy, which are part of these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. Ground Figures is operated by its author, Kulasekar Mittapalli (“we,” “us”).
What the site is, and is not
The site provides public-data analysis, calculators and educational guides. It is not financial, tax, legal, investment or lending advice, it is not an offer or solicitation of credit, and we are not a lender, broker, servicer or adviser. No relationship of any kind is created by your use of the site or the contact form. Read the Disclaimer for the specific limits of each kind of content.
Your use of the site
You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes and to quote us. You agree not to:
- scrape, crawl, bulk-download or systematically copy the pages, tables, charts, or the data files the pages load, or use automated means to extract them, except for ordinary search-engine indexing that respects
robots.txt; - republish, resell or redistribute the dataset or any substantial part of it, or use it to build or train a competing dataset, product or model, without our written permission;
- frame the site, misrepresent your affiliation with it, or imply that we endorse you, a lender or any product;
- use the site in any way that breaks the law, interferes with its operation, or attempts to access it other than through the pages we provide.
The underlying public filings and government data are available from their original sources; these rules are about our compiled analysis and presentation.
Quoting and linking
You are welcome to link to any page and to quote individual figures, charts and short excerpts, including in news, research and social posts, provided you credit “Ground Figures” and link to the source page. Please do not present our figures as your own, remove the context that appears with them, or state them in a way that suggests they are more certain than the page says.
Intellectual property
The site’s text, design, code, charts, calculators, and our selection, arrangement and analysis of data are owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. Government data we use remain in the public domain or under their publishers’ terms. Lender and other third-party names and marks belong to their owners and are used only to identify them. Except for the quoting permission above, no license is granted by implication.
What you send us
If you send a message, correction or suggestion, you allow us to use it to run and improve the site without obligation to you. Do not send confidential, financial or personal account information through the contact form. We handle personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.
Third-party content, ads and links
The site contains links to, and data from, third parties, and displays ads served by Google and its partners. We do not control or endorse them and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability or practices. Your dealings with any third party, including any lender you contact after visiting the site, are solely between you and them.

Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR CONTRIBUTORS, RESEARCHERS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OPPORTUNITY OR GOODWILL, OR FOR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM A LOAN, PURCHASE, SALE, REFINANCE, RATE LOCK OR OTHER FINANCIAL DECISION YOU MAKE OR FAIL TO MAKE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SITE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100). Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the site, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You and we agree that the state and federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from the site or these terms, and each consents to that venue, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction. Before any claim, please contact us and give us 30 days to address the issue.
Changes, termination and general terms
We may change the site, its data and these terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted, with the “last updated” date above; continued use means you accept them. We may suspend or block access for any breach. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms, the Disclaimer and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the site. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it.
